A lot of junk is being sold. Sellers and buyers may not be aware. We just restored an expensive Rolex that the buyer thought was essentially new. Unknown to the buyer and possibly the seller, the watch was worked on prior to the sale. A fake crystal was substituted for the original Rolex crystal. Watch leaked in salt water and extensive damage occurred. A very expensive repair was required.
